For many months the building work has been going on and the new Church is now up to window height. Although the Parishioners have been incredibly generous (they have raised Kenya shillings 5000 about £400.00 - a large amount for such poor people). The building work for the new Church has had to stop because of lack of funds. To complete the project, about £3000.00 is still needed. This is a massive figure for the local people to raise from their very limited incomes.
