SPICMA RESPONDS TO CALLS FOR HELP FROM KENYA

The situation is still dire for many people in Kenya. Numerous homes and places of work have been burned down. Many are refugees and need help. Recently, amongst the calls for help was this letter from a Missionary working in Kenya which gives a far better understanding of the situation. Below are some extracts from that letter:

“So many Kenyans here are affected by the recent problems. Everyday there are many people coming to the Church begging. I have to send them away empty handed. It is painful for me but what can I do. I do not have any resources to help them, so I beg for them. If only to give them a candle to light their dark evenings or give a small packet of milk to ease a bit of hunger.

Please pray for a better Kenya and hope to put a smile back on the faces of the people I love to serve”

Fr. Mario Dimapilis mhm

We have as you would expect responded instantly and hope with your generosity to increase that help. As in the past, you can be assured that every penny we receive will go directly via the Church to those who need in Kenya.
