Lesley Pippet is 63 years old and has
been married for 28 years to Anthony. Lesley and Anthony
have seven children; two girls and five boys. Only two now
remain at home whilst they complete their university studies.
Contact with SPICMA came when Lesley
and her husband moved into Hornsey and, through her our friendship
with Richard Pennington, she came to know Fr Bernard. She has
always had a great interest in the Missions and was able to
realise her ambitions, when as a single person she was working for
the Irish Airline and was able to travel extensively. She visited
missions several times and was very involved in one in Southern
India.
The parish of St Peter in Chains
has obviously been very special to Fr Bernard and knowing many
African families who have settled here my interest in Africa has
grown over many years as I have 5 African Godchildren.
