HELP FOR ORPHANED
CHILDREN AND WAR DAMAGED YOUNGSTERS
Thanks to you who have
committed a regular payment to SPICMA to enable children/ young people to
have an Education. It is without doubt one of the greatest assets you can
give to a child.
Soroti and Kotido
Uganda War damaged people.
After a request from the new Diocese Kotido, SPICMA agreed to fund £5000.00
to enable the many men, women and children who lost limbs in the recent
conflicts, to get basic Prostithises. The cost to construct and fit each
limb is approximate £80. Although this funding will presently assist only
about sixty people, it is a start.
PHILLIPINES FLOOD 2006
Due to the generosity of single donation by Mr. Dennis Keating RIP - who had
spent some time on the Island of Layette after the second world - we were
able to send £10,000 via the Bishop to the people of this Island
after it had been devastated by floods.
MARSABIT KENYA FAMINE
APPEAL 2006.
Following an appeal
from the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Marsabit in Northern Kenya, £15,575
has been sent for famine relief

Thanks to all of you who are able to Gift Aid your donations. Last year we
received from the Inland Revenue £15,875.82. at no extra cost to you.
