Sr Aguti Mary
Salome, Head Teacher of St Theresa's Secondary school in Okunguro,
Uganda wrote to SPICMA saying;
"We heartily appreciate the sacrifices and efforts made by SPICMA and its
supporters to ensure the steady progress and development of St Theresa
School. In 2006 the school was able to construct pit latrines and
bathrooms for boys and girls. In 2007 we built a kitchen, food store and
firewood store. This year we installed the ten computers that you sent
us and the students have already started lessons in IT."
We
also received a letter appended to Sr Aguti's report. The Students'
Representative, Ejul Emmanuel, wrote;
"We the students and entire community of St Theresa School extend
our sincere gratitude to SPICMA for the computers you sent us which we
never expected. This has greatly changed our learning environment in a
way that has enabled us to acquire a new understanding and skills in
computing as well as using the equipment to aid our learning.
This proves that God is
always with the needy. Once more we would like to thank the management
and benefactors of SPICMA with our innermost hearts for the good you
have done to us. We pray that the Almighty God bless and keep you
always." |
